Oh, wow, hello! I'm sorry this took me so long to reply to. For some reason I'm not get email notifications from Dreamwidth anymore. Probably I've buggered something up but I don't know what. It's really cool to find someone from LJ over here. I am enjoying the site, yes. It's nice to have somewhere to work on original stuff, and there's some great comms on here, as far as that goes. How're you doing?

I really like DW so far. I just need to get more involved. I'm still in the process of figuring out exactly what I want my journal to be. I was thinking a book review journal. I also have what will eventually be a music journal (should I ever post in it) over at momentsbeforethewind, if you want to check it out sometime. I'm hoping on doing a post fairly soon.

Haha, don't worry about it. My style takes some getting used to. I like it, but it does some odd things. And yay for one more semester! I've got two years to go, probably, because I switched universities and majors. I am wise like the owl. >.> I like my new major (Psychology), but I seriously just need to graduate already and quit racking up student loans. I will check out your music journal! I am always looking for new stuff, as far as that goes. Also, a book review journal would be cool, but I'm biased, seeing as I'm always looking for new books, too.

Goodness, hello! I have... no idea how you could possibly have found this journal, ha ha. Especially as someone mentioning fandom! Unless you are coming from commendaces @ LJ, in which case, wow, did you ever voyage into obscure corners of the internet (and, actually, are continuing to do so now!) because I never even transferred like... any of my fic to that journal. And I think there were like 20 people in HP who knew who I was before that journal, all of whom were on hp_literotica and have now scattered on the wind.

Anyways! You are more than welcome to read my journal. I am always looking for new DW friends. Pretty much everything is readable aside from some of the poetry. And I am probably going to unlock that pretty soon here because honestly what's the worst that could happen? (Oh, god, why did I just say that, now something terrible will happen.) But, yes, welcome! :) Hope you enjoy your stay.

My home page is set to open a random DW journal, so I get to take a peek at people here and there. I don't fandom anymore, but that's where the majority of my LJ interaction stems from back in the day lol. But I do like reading what other people have written, and this last year I've been reading original fiction and poetry in people's journals, so yours looked like a great one to add! :)

I did not even know you could do that! That is cool. And, yeah, I haven't committed fanfic for... almost 2 years, most of it even further back than that, but that was sort of how I started out. Why, hello! My goodness, I imagined that story had been lost to the ages. Now I feel all nostalgic. Although if you are expecting Merlin fandom thngs... you are probably going to be very disappointed. I've written nothing but original fiction since then (things which are hopefully not disappointing in themselves!).

I do not live in Tennessee! I think maybe i drove through it once? But otherwise i am pretty sure we've never even been in the same state, so. XD And it is going kind of crazily actually. I just got out of the hospital in time for my dad to go back into it. Nothing too serious! But no one aspires to being in the hospital for a reason: they are expensive and depressing and people die there. ... That tangent was also depressing, i am sorry! How are you doing? It is always exciting to see a new face around these parts. Or, well. A new username.

I'm excited to go through your fiction! I love a good story, and I was especially impressed with your writing in the one example I've had so far. I think I saw one of your posts in parthenon, in case you're wondering where I found you. Based on your interests we have quite a bit in common. In fact, your taste in books and music is almost identical to mine. ;)

Would you mind if I subscribed to you? My journal is pretty empty/new right now, but I plan to use it for original written work. I'm also working on a script. Feel free to say no if you think I'm too creepy.

And you are welcome to subscribe to my journal. :) I have something of an opposite problem to what you have, by which I mean not only are my friends not on Livejournal, most aren't on Dreamwidth either. But I have nefarious plans to drag them in so. *strokes mustache thoughtfully*

Now I am just really curious as to which parthenon post you saw. I can narrow it down to two universes, since that's all I've posted there, I think. I'm pretty sure it would have to be Machines and Spirits Ought to Know, but that was also posted eons ago, in internet time. My curiosity, it is piqued!

Sorry, I don't remember the exact post, but I found it by sifting through the Urania prompt table tags. Does the phrase "space dragon 'verse" ring a bell?

You are not alone in your love of ironic facial hair! My best friend is in love with facial hair of any kind, ironic or not. And yeah, that was the other one I thought it might be. Unfortunately those posts are totally obsolete because the story line got completely done over. But it is much better now for that. The only up-to-date one on the storyboard is the Lalo screenplay, which I would post on parthenon as part of that tag, but I think they keep strictly to fiction as far as I can tell, without poetry or screenplays or anything else in the mix. Dreamwidth is drastically in need of communities based around those sorts of original writing, actually.

Lalo sounds way cool. When school isn't kicking my ass I'll try to give you better feedback than that. I know how annoying vague writerly compliments can be. (How many times have you heard, "Oh, that's good!" in lieu of something constructive?)

I agree! Scripts, especially, need more love on DW and LJ. I think I'm part of the minority that actually prefers them to novels, but that's just because I enjoy character development and dialogue waaaay too much, haha. I'm also quite lazy. :P Let me know if you ever need crit for that kind of stuff. I'd be happy to give it.
